The band Koňe a prase was formed by Martin and Viktor in 2013 to play at exhibitions and openings. In 2015, Lenka joined the group and the band began to form into what it is today form. The original work was characterized by simple songs with banjo, saxophone, heligonica and baby grand piano. With Lenka they tried to change different instruments, after a 1,5 year break the instrumentation of each of them settled down. The lyrics reflect the everyday situation of ordinary people in a cheerful way, with an emphasis on ecology and criticism of society. For a long time the band performed mainly in their hometown Valmez. In 2018, Petr Marek and Prokop Holoubek noticed the band’s performance at the Zubštejn festival and gave them the chance to perform at several sold-out concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in front of their band Midi Lidi. During the last 5 years, they have been trying to record an album on their own, an effort that David Schwager and Jan Boroš successfully helped to complete in Hada’s studio in the mountains of northern Moravia. Even before the album was released, they put the single “Vysavač” into the hit parade “Velká sedma” on Radio 1, where it stayed for 7 weeks.
