Leto s Monikou is a solo project of singer and composer Monika Omerzu Midriaková. Settled in Prague, she entered the scene in the last decade with the Czechoslovak project Monikino Kino and later started writing film music. Her eponymous album Leto s Monikou is her solo songwriting debut, for which she won an award at the Radiohead Awards. On the surface, the upbeat but often profound lyrics about finding hope and your place in the adult world invite reflection and even dancing. Monika is accompanied by guitarist Lukáš Klavrza.
