Čáry života

Čáry života is a project by musician and producer Jan Boroš (Fiordmoss, Tichonov, Wotienke), who attracted attention in 2018 with his debut album Stínítko (Lampshade). His “slow and sad songs about love” earned him critical acclaim, winning an Apollo Award and two nominations for the Vinyla music award. Songs such as Šílená and Sídláky remained in the public consciousness – lyrically based songs drawing inspiration from the genres of lo-fi, folk and soul. The band, together with Anna Hokešová, Štěpán Růžička and Michal Škoda, played dozens of club concerts and festivals throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2024, the project is back with the release of the first video singles from the new album Sluníčko (Zoufalci, Nově příchozí), which was released on the Bumbum Satori label on 31 January 2025. Čáry života promises a return to the concert stage in both solo and band form with new drummer Jan Janečka.
